Adaptive Leadership: Strategies for Emerging Leaders is designed for emerging leaders in corporate, government, and nonprofit organizations. They are driven to learn, collaborate, and improve their ability to lead and inspire. Candidates typically have 5-15 years of professional experience or are senior managers seeking to further their management skills and leadership capacity.

Adel is driven to forge effective collaborations among business, government, and non-profit sectors while creating lasting and impactful solutions. Over the course of his career, he has advised and trained senior leaders and teams of Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, public sector agencies, and governments worldwide. He served as Education Specialist at UNESCO and Policy Fellow at Harvard Law School. He is Adjunct Professor at UBC Sauder School of Business and has made appearances on television and radio, including Global News, CBC News, and CBC’s On the Coast with Gloria Macarenko.
Driven to inspire and mentor young leaders, Adel cofounded The Gamar Foundation—a nonprofit that aims to inspire, empower, and connect young people to make a difference for the greater public good. He is the former Board Chair of Douglas College and currently serves on various boards including the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce and York House School.
He holds an MPA from Harvard and a B.Ed. from the University of Calgary.
